ELA 7

During this week, we are working in class on our final essay for our guided reading unit. Next week we will begin our Portfolio Reflections before moving on to our final assessment.

Spanish update

Hello!

We are starting week two of the food unit.  This week we will be focusing on page 2 of the vocab sheet as well as ER and IR verbs.

The week of May 5th we will work on Fruits and Veggies as well as drilling ER and IR verbs.

The week of May 19th there we be an in class menu project and a speaking skit.

We will review and wrap up the unit around 5-29-14.

Please check with your son/daughter for upcoming quizzes.  There will be at least one every week.

Science Updates

As the fourth quarter kicks off, lots of excitement in F4!

First, Classification and Evolution test will be on Tuesday. Students have a study guide and picked up a review crossword puzzle on Friday in class.  It is not required but, highly recommended. 

Monday is Math Monday for the entire team.  Mrs. Slack will be providing all of her core class colleagues (say that 3 times...) with a lesson to review for the state test.

Wednesday-Friday in the morning, the entire Middle School will be taking the State Math Exam.  Please get a good night's sleep and eat a strong breakfast.

Students will need a 2 liter bottle, with their name Sharpied on it, by next Friday.  They can certainly store it in Mr. Scully's room.
